Police Chief Dyer Threatens Protesters Before MLK Day

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2015 in Fresno, CA, protesters turned their backs as the Chief of Police spoke. Fresno People's Media reports, "At the beginning of the month, Chief Dyer was on television explaining a plan to “crack down on protesters”. In the plan, crafted by the district attorney and the police department, protest organizers are to be identified via police surveillance and sent a letter threatening retribution in the form of citations, $6,000 restitution, and jail time if the protests continued." 

Obviously, protesters feel their First Amendment rights should be protected, not threatened by the Chief of Police with retribution, incarceration, and extortion. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King was faced with identical government injunctions against free speech and the right to protest. He responded in his final speech. See the excerpt below.

"If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn't committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for right. And so just as I say, we aren't going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around, we aren't going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on." ~MLK in his final address in Memphis, TN 

Justice Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court has announced that the Constitution is dead, dead, dead. Obviously, the Fresno district attorney and police department think so. The first protest organizer in Fresno who is issued a citation or arrested for organizing peaceful protests should appeal the infraction against the Constitution all the way to the Supreme Court and see how it is handled by the justices whose job it is to interpret the constitution. See if it said anything about "free speech" or the right to "petition government for a redress of grievances," or any of the other "rights" that free people should have in a government of, by and for the People.

Police seem tired of "black lives matter" protests. Below is a photo of my online minister, Rev. Floyd Harris (in red), associate pastor of New Light for New Life Church of God in Fresno, California. He obeys the Word of God and speaks for the poor and oppressed and all who are appointed to destruction, no matter who threatens him (Pv. 31:8-9). Some Christian leaders still obey God. We may protest in Silicon Valley one fine day.

Pinkney's supporters are not able to travel to Berrien County Courthouse to support him this week. It is right for us to unite and publicly support this human and civil rights luminary on radio. Rev. Pinkney is facing election fraud charges less than two weeks before the recall election for the mayor of Benton Harbor.

The sheriff went out to intimidate and harass the people. In one hand they had the original signed petition, in the other hand a computer copy of the recall petition with a whited out first digit. They asked the resident which day they signed the recall petition with two different dates in their hand, confusing the person, and trying to force the person to say they did not sign the petition on the original date. Also, they claimed that four people signed two different petitions twice. The law is clear on that. A person who knowingly signed a recall petition more than once, or signed a name other than his own, is violating the provisions of Michigan election law. Pinkney never allowed anyone to sign the petition twice. This is another attempt to silence Pinkney. He can no longer use his computer. He’s under house arrest 24/7. He cannot leave his house for any reason. They are trying to silence him completely. Please spread the word.

Genocide in Benton Harbor, Michigan?

Benton Harbor has possibly the most corrupt police department in the nation.

Former police officer Andrew Collins planted drugs on more than 200 citizens of Benton Harbor. Presently, we no longer have Andrew Collins, but now have Wes Smigielski who is known for his open practices of racism in Benton Harbor.

Three bodies have been found floating in the river, and we believe that the police have something to do with these apparent murders. Benton Harbor citizens are constantly harassed by the police. Thus, when we speak of a police state, we are describing the horrible daily reality in Benton Harbor.

A Benton Harbor, Michigan man was found dead in the snow on Wednesday, January 15. Friends and family asked city commissioners to help them find answers to how and why their son died.

Benton Harbor police said they do not believe foul play was involved in the death of 18 year old Karrington Penny Morrow. He was found unresponsive in the front yard of 420 Empire Ave, Benton Harbor on January 1, 2014. His parents, Kimberly Penny Word and Robert Morrow, want someone to be held accountable for their son's death.

The family wants a thorough and independent investigation.

"There is more to this than what we're being told," said Penny Word, who spoke to the Benton Harbor commissioners during the city Legislative Committee meeting, "and the very manner that we were told was wrong in itself. Detective Smigielski kept saying there was no foul play." Yet, serious questions remain unanswered.

The parents gave a copy of a Facebook message to the commissioners. It shows that something else was going on, and that the Benton Harbor police department may be part of the cover-up. Police told Ms. Word not to share this message until the investigation is over.

Penny Word said persons who were with her son that night said someone slipped a "molly" (illegal street drug) into her son's drink, a drink served by the mother in the home Karrington was visiting. Penny Word wants that person held accountable, further stating that he would have been at Lansing Community College in two weeks.

Ms. Word said when she got the phone call at her Mississippi home, she was told that her son had died and no foul play was suspected. Despite the fact that three Black bodies have been found floating in the river, the police amazingly continue to say there was and is no foul play. In all the cases.

Penny Word said, "I can't fathom there not being foul play, or even making that statement within two minutes of talking to me. My child is dead."

Moreover, in a blatant display of racist insensitivity, Det. Smigielski wanted to know why she (Ms. Word) was "so upset."

The parents of the deceased 18 year old said they were told their son was drinking alcohol though he was underage, and that the alcohol was furnished by an adult woman at the house.

The obvious question is, who was Karrington with? Ms. Word said, "If this adult served my child alcohol, why can't she be charged with murder or wrongful death? If this person would have been black she would be in jail and charged with murder. Apparently, someone at her home slipped a molly into my son Karrington's drink."

Ms. Word said Berrien county prosecutor Mike Septic told her that if the woman is charged with anything, it be would be a "misdemeanor."

"He's deceased!" Ms. Word said, "and I can't see that being a misdemeanor."

The parent said that Det. Wes Smigielski is trying to cover up any foul play, because he has a relationship with the white woman who served the drinks. Det. Smigielski is known for covering up crimes in against blacks in Benton Harbor by white people.

Smigielski said the case is "closed." It's apparent to Benton Harbor residents, familiar with police dept. activities, Smigielski is again protecting his white friends.

Deputy Chief Dan McGinnis said Karrington was identified by his wallet. However, the wallet was not found in his pocket. It was found in his car 2 days after the media announced his death. (Another lie by BHPD.)

McGinnis also said Karrington's father has asked the public safety dept. at least twice not to press charges against the adult woman who was serving drinks to a minor. However, Karrington's father said he never said anything like that. Another BHPD lie.

Benton Harbor, Michigan has the worst police department in the nation. A city with a 94% black population, and yet the police department is 95% white and does not support the community.

As corruption rolls on in the city of Benton Harbor, we should be thinking about dissolving the BHPD. They continue to support the likes of Wes Smigielski and Dan McGinnis.

Yes, they finally got a settlement, but read my blogs to find out why the survivors received any judgment. That was probably not the plan. The Johnston wrongful death case was supposedly filed a year to the day after the elder was killed then "transferred" from Georgia State Court to United States District Court in Atlanta in January 2008. The federal case was presided over by Judge Shoob, father of Judge Wendy Shoob. She is the Georgia Superior Court judge who falsely ruled in May 2006 that there is no Cochran Firm law office whatsoever in the State of Georgia and dismissed my family's lawsuit against that CoIntelPro law firm. Georgia courts, which consistently denied Troy Davis a new trial by jury, denied justice to the Neal family after my brother's secret murder in jail by declaring the law firm we sued for malpractice and fraud nonexistent. Cases that justices do not want to be won are not permitted to go to jury.

How did white supremacists get Johnnie Cochran's firm? HAPPY ANNIVERSARY COCHRAN FIRM FRAUDS http://freespeakblog.blogspot.com/2012/08/happy-anniversary-cochran-firm-frauds.html  The Cochran Firm did not take Kathryn Johnston's case before any jury, but settled for less than a third of the lawsuit demand - $4.9m, of which the fraud attorneys kept almost half. Perhaps the only reason Kathryn Johnston's family recovered any damages (unlike the families of Billey Joe Johnson, Corey Ward, and Larry Neal and many others - who recovered ZERO) is because I threatened to get Atlanta University Center college students to help me protest Kathryn Johnston's family being railroaded by The Cochran Firm in August 2010. A settlement in Dozier v. City of Atlanta was hurriedly worked out the weekend before Morris Brown, Clark, Morehouse, and Spellman Colleges re-opened after their summer break. I was going to notify the students about the system conspiring against Kathryn Johnston's family and notified "them" that I would do that, despite the fact that Atlanta police said they would Taser and arrest me for telling people about my brother's lynching in Memphis Shelby County Jail and asking students to help Kathryn Johnston's family, who were depending on the fraud law firm to get justice. Johnston was killed in November 2006, six months after Judge Shoob ruled there was no Cochran Firm in Georgia and dismissed my lawsuit against the unethical lawyers. Three police officers involved in her murder had already been in prison for a year when I went to The Cochran Firm office to protest outside and demand that they stop railroading Kathryn Johnston's family and take her wrongful death to court in 2010. I had been patient with them in that case for four years, but the family had recovered zero. The Cochran Firm regularly works behind its client's backs to help police when there are murders of black people that authorities cannot cover-up or explain away with a claim the victims deserved to die because they were dealing drugs. Please help warn Chavis's family about their attorneys. Also warn the widow of Sgt. Loggins, who was killed by Orange County deputies in front of his daughters in January. She, too, is in the clutches of The Cochran Firm frauds.

Google "COCHRAN FIRM FRAUD" for more cases and videos. There are many defrauded families who relied on The Cochran Firm. State Bars and consumer protection agencies will not report that The Cochran Firm is allowed by the courts to defend malpractice lawsuits by claiming the firm does not exist. The media refuses to report the many lawsuits by Cochran Firm former attorneys and clients who sue the firm for fraud and racism. The idea that government officials and the media have is to protect THE COCHRAN FIRM FRAUD from disclosure in order to continue using Johnnie Cochran's name to lure unsuspecting clients like Chavis Carter's grieving family. When the public hears that The Cochran Firm has a police shooting case, social unrest is avoided, because people think the family will be treated justly. This is not what actually happens, but they know blacks do not usually follow court cases to their conclusions, which comes years after the wrongful deaths by police officers or corporate wrongdoing. Please save Chavis Carter's family from further victimizing. Warn them about their attorneys. Elected and appointed officials, civil/human rights organizations, mainstream media, and consumer protection agencies want to protect The Cochran Firm's reputation in order to continue misusing Johnnie Cochran's name to defraud African Americans and other disenfranchised people.

Black people have no civil and human rights organizations to go to about such abuses as The Cochran Firm fraud. Consider that Rev. Edward Pinkney, president of the Benton Harbor, Michigan NAACP Chapter is facing being ousted by the NAACP because he actually helps the organization's members to resist oppression. The NAACP called a special election for August 16, 2012, with the hope that Rev. Pinkney will be voted out of office for standing with the city's residents against corporate takeover by the Whirlpool Corporation. It is major news that an NAACP chapter president announced his lawsuit against the organization, claiming that officers support corporations' triumph over human and civil rights. WHERE ARE THE CAMERAS THAT MAINSTREAM NEWS USED TO REVEAL LAWSUITS AGAINST BISHOP EDDIE LONG? ARE LAWSUITS AGAINST HIM MORE NEWSWORTHY THAN LAWSUITS BY NAACP PRESIDENTS CHARGING THE ORGANIZATION WITH CONSPIRACY TO DENY RIGHTS TO AFRICAN AMERICANS? I don't think so. WHIRLPOOL AGAIN TRIES A HOSTILE TAKEOVER OF THE BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN CHAPTER OF THE NAACP

B.H. BANCO organization reports that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) of the State of Michigan has once again partnered with Whirlpool Corporation to oust Rev. Edward Pinkney as President of the Benton Harbor Chapter. The NAACP  has scheduled a special election for August 16, without giving the activist minister any notice.  In an attempt to wrest the presidency away from Rev. Pinkney, NAACP Michigan State President Yvonne White and Vice-President James Gill have been working with Whirlpool, Marcus Robinson, Mayor James Hightower, Superintendent Leonard Cedwood, and certain pastors: Gavin, Wells, Atterberry, and Melvin Burton. Rev. Pinkney led the "Occupy the PGA Tournament" protest that occurred in Benton Harbor on May 23-27, 2012. It was a successful, peaceful demonstration against the oppression that residents of Benton Harbor endure due to an apparent government/corporate merger in that city. Unfortunately, the NAACP, which historically fights on behalf oppressed people, is intent on eliminating Rev. Pinkney for actually doing that work. Whirlpool and Marcus Robinson paid for over two hundred new NAAACP memberships on the requirement that new members vote against Rev Edward Pinkney in a special election. The parties initially tried to oust Rev. Pinkney in April. Rev. Pinkney filed a lawsuit against the civil rights organization, preventing the special election that NAACP officials had planned to occur prior to the "Occupy the PGA Tournament." Regarding the special election this week, Rev. Pinkney said, "I have received the evidence I need to prove corruption and conspiracy by Whirlpool, Marcus Robinson, the pastors, and a few others. We will be back in court, and my $100,00.00 [lawsuit against NAACP] will again be on the table."

Thurgood Marshall was the first of two African-American Justices appointed to the US Supreme Court, was Chief Counsel for the NAACP in 1954. He argued Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka before the high court twice, once in 1952 and once in 1953 (Wikipedia). Marshall probably never imagined a day when NAACP chapter presidents would have to fight the organization for the right to serve the needs of its members instead of catering to corporate sponsors.  (Five(5) links are in this article).

Elitists seem to see the entire earth and its inhabitants their personal property. Rev. Pinkney is a man who decided to peacefully resist oppression and lead others in a struggle to secure and maintain their human and civil rights. He will continue this mission whether or not the NAACP has abdicated its role to do likewise.

Paragraph 1 of 6 -- A FEDERAL APPEALS COURT upheld a ten-year prison sentence for former activist attorney Lynne Stewart. Stewart was convicted in 2005 and disbarred for allegedly providing material support to terrorists during her representation of the Blind Sheik of Egypt, Omar Abdel Rachman. This article about Stewart's appellate verdict has four(4) links and five(5) numbered paragraphs. Stewart's client opposed Egypt's former dictator, President Hosni Mubarak, years before Egypt's 2011 rebellion against oppression when Mubarak was ousted. Stewart allegedly relayed a letter from the Blind Sheik to Reuters while her client was incarcerated. The former civil rights attorney was dubbed "the People's Lawyer" after successfully defending several members of the Black Panther Party and other clients regardless of their ability to pay for her legal services. Many people regard Lynne Stewart as a political prisoner and a hero for human rights.

Paragraph 5 of 6 -- Many people wonder why it is difficult to find lawyers for certain civil and criminal cases even if they have irrefutable proof that they were wronged. Perhaps the answer can be derived by observing what happened to Lynne Stewart, Alton Maddox, Johnnie Cochran, and Juan Guerra (Google my article "Johnnie Cochran's CoIntelPro Murder Theory" for a brief summary about each of those officers of the court). Findlaw reported on May 17, 2012: "New York City has agreed to pay [attorneys] Michael Warren and his wife Evelyn $360,000 to settle accusations of police brutality and wrongful arrest. The couple, both civil rights attorneys, alleged they were assaulted when they tried to help a man they say was being beaten by police officers. The settlement was announced on Monday, just hours before the civil trial was set to begin. Jonathan Moore, a Manhattan injury attorney specializing in governmental misconduct, represented the couple. He believes the settlement represents an 'acknowledgement of misconduct.' City attorneys were quick to point out that no one has admitted wrongdoing. Nonetheless, the couple stands by their story. They were driving through Brooklyn in June 2007 when they saw several officers catch and handcuff a young black man, reports Reuters. It was then they allegedly saw Sgt. Steven Talvy kick the man in the head." Lawyers who care about justice like Stewart are endangered in an unjust system. They are sometimes brutalized like the Warrens, imprisoned like Stewart, disbarred like Maddox, or killed like Cochran probably was.

On April 2, 2012, Rev. Edward Pinkney, president of the Benton Harbor/Twin City NAACP branch, filed a lawsuit against Ben Jealous, nat'l NAACP president, and state president Yvonne White and Vice Pres. James Gill.

Defendants White and Gill knowingly and willfully entered into a joint agreement with Whirlpool employee Marcus Robinson (Whirlpool's Consortium for Community Development, and Band of Brethren) to take over the BH/Twin City NAACP, and to suspend membership fees for new people Robinson brings to NAACP.

Whirlpool Corp. circulated an email stating the nat'l. and state NAACP offices were persuaded to undertake the reorganization of the branch - with the specific intention of revitalizing the leadership. It stated that members should contact Marcus Robinson rather than the branch elected officers or executive officers. This is an attempt at a hostile takeover of the local NAACP branch by the defendants and the following: James Hightower, Leonard Seawood, Whirlpool Corp., the PGA tournament, and Harbor Shores.

The lawsuit will be heard on April 11, 2012, 10am, Judge Sullivan's courtroom in Detroit.

Note - The Dog Justice for Mentally Ill link was attacked. It is the only one that could be used for funds to continue advocacy to decriminalize mental illness. That is the very link that stalkers attacked. It was blue like a link, but it was not linking to the site.
